Are you ready to join 1,000 colleagues in a private equity-owned, international company and contribute to Dantherm Group’s growth journey? Since the 1950s, we have been pioneering energy-efficient climate control solutions, and now, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated master data specialist to join our team at Dantherm Group. The new position is based in Skive, Denmark, with flexibility for hybrid work.

As our master data specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the role and establish essential data governance practices across the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to secure and enhance our group master data strategy, supporting key projects and maintaining high standards for data quality and governance.

Moreover, you will be instrumental in developing and professionalising our approach to master data management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive and uphold data standards throughout the Group. The position will require traveling days in Europe approximately 10-15 days a year.

Job responsibilities

  • Secure and enforce governance of group master data and contribute to data quality across the organisation
  • Define and implement data standards for critical fields, ensuring consistency across legal entities
  • Drive ownership and accountability for group master data, particularly for product-related data
  • Establish roles for data owners and stewards, fostering a data community across the group
  • Support and participate in both group and local projects related to master data, with a focus on ERP implementations
  • Collaborate closely with the ERP and BI teams to ensure data integrity and integration
  • Lead training sessions for data owners and stewards to ensure high standards of data quality and governance
  • Handle master data inquiries and manage stakeholder relationships to align on data governance

Personal and professional qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field, or 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with D365 FO and familiarity with BI tools
  • Knowledge of data integration and production value chain processes
  • Experience in project and change management, with the ability to lead initiatives
  • Fluency in English; German skills are a plus
  • Structured, logical approach to work with a commitment to setting and enforcing data standards
  • Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical skills to understand complex processes and improve data accuracy
