Core Responsibilities
In this role as Senior Project Manager you will scope, lead, plan, and implement complex Processing Equipment Platform Development projects from early research phase to implement, in close cooperation with the project team and main partners, to ensure delivering the agreed result to our internal customer. More specifically your responsibilities will be to:
- Implement the project by following the LEGO Project Model and business processes
- Capture end-to-end business understanding to ensure that solutions are meeting our internal customer requirements
- Ensure Speed in execution of the projects by defining clear roles and responsibilities in the team and enable them to deliver efficient results
- Ensure strong anchoring during the handover of projects in the line organization with high level of standards
- Conduct after action reviews and continuously implement the best Project management practice in the way we work
- Improving the Project Management processes and tools for the department and use agile principles where relevant

You will join the Technology Innovation & Development Team in Billund. We are a team of nine dedicated colleagues focusing on development of the next generation of Processing Equipment Platforms within Decoration and Assembly.
The team consists of two Project Managers, three Equipment Manager and four Senior Equipment Engineers. We value an environment where we think BIG, start small and implement with high speed!
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading complex engineering projects combined with a relevant educational background. In addition, we expect that you have:
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills with ability to develop and manage supplier and partner relationships
- Knowledge of Process Engineering tools (FMEA, FAT/SAT, technical documentation, etc.)
- Proved competences leading, mentoring and empowering project team members on a proactive basis
- Contribute on develop processes, tools and standard methodologies for project management and execution
- Support the LEGO Groups values by being Curious to investigate alternatives, Focus on delivering as agreed and be Brave to take decisions and act
- Proficiency in English
