Your role
As a Control System Engineer at Eurowind Energy, you will play a vital role in optimizing the performance of renewable energy assets. Your expertise will contribute to the design and implementation of advanced control systems that ensure the efficient operation of these assets.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop and test, including:
- Closed loop and other control algorithms for controlling renewable energy assets
- Monitoring and performance software for ensuring optimal operation of renewable energy assets
- Performing field test and optimization
- Discuss and review solutions
Your key tasks will include:
- Write functional descriptions and design documentation
- Design, develop and test control system algorithms in mainly Simulink
- System modelling in mainly Simulink
- Integrate auto generated code from Simulink to TwinCAT IPC platform
- Participate in field test with data analysis and tuning
As a part of the OT Team you will collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and operation of the control systems on a national and international scale.
Your profile
You bring to the table a relevant educational background. Ideally, you have most of the following competencies:
- Software or electronics engineer with control system background
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with design, development and test of closed loop control systems
- Familiar with electrical systems incl. Basic understanding of renewable energy assets
- Familiar with agile development methods
- Familiar with C++ and development tools as Git
