Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a talented and curious Product Owner to advance our platform as we expand. In this role, you will take the lead in developing exceptional customer experiences and cloud solutions, as well as creating data-driven decision-making tools. As the Product Owner, your primary goal is to represent the customer to the development team. You will manage and make visible the product backlog, which is the prioritized list of requirements for future product development.
Your mission is to create personalized, seamless experiences that reflect Factbird’s products. This role empowers you to build and execute strategies that maintain a steady flow of completed projects and meet or exceed our monthly delivery goals. You will work closely with various teams across the company, including the executive team, to ensure the success of your product line.
What you’ll be doing
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including visioning, research, planning, execution, and measurement while ensuring quality and outcomes.
- Clarify customer needs, outlining jobs to be done and translating findings into user stories and user requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships, collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in development, marketing and sales.
- Support solutioning throughout development and collaborate on quality assurance during the build and testing phases of product capabilities.
- Monitor dependencies and risks, actively working with stakeholders to mitigate or resolve them.
- Assist on the development, maintenance of the product roadmap. Focus on driving speed-to-market and delivering business impact.
- Measure and track key performance metrics aligned with objectives. Generate insights and feed them back into the roadmap and delivery process.
What makes you a great fit?
- We are looking for an individual with shop floor experience, particularly in driving continuous improvement and manufacturing intelligence projects. The ideal candidate has significant industry knowledge within manufacturing, specifically focused on driving continuous improvement and/or digitalization projects on the shop floor.
- It is highly desired to find someone who has experience in driving these projects within the food and beverage industries.
- 3 years of practical experience as a continuous improvement specialist working in manufacturing.
- Educational level of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field or similar practical experience.
- A strong customer focus and a passion for delivering value.
- Technical aptitude to partner effectively with development teams.
- Comfortable engaging with and interviewing customers.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and concepts.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
