Senior Development Engineer - Late Stage
Technolution
We are building our capabilities in the Late Stage Mechanical Engineering team and we are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to partner with our clients to solve late stage development tasks and to strengthen the area within our own organization.
Your role
As a Senior Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in finalizing product designs and ensuring they meet high-quality standards. You will be an integral part of the R&D team, focusing on maturing designs for production and linking the disciplines of design and manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to mature concepts, finalize designs, and ensure a smooth transition to full-scale production.
You will join a team of 11 nice and nerdy colleagues. We form the Late Stage Mechanical Engineering team and work closely together to balance client-focused projects with internal initiatives. Our team engagement is high, and we value great collaboration and quality work.
Joining our team means working in an engaging, inclusive, and innovative environment where creativity, collaboration and technical curiosity are encouraged. At Technolution, you will have opportunities to work on impactful MedTech projects and be part of a collaborative team with room for professional growth.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve processes for Late stage design development.
- Create detailed product documentation, including technical drawings and product specifications.
- Ensure design robustness and mature designs for manufacturability for high-volume production.
- Analyze workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage contact with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with production quality teams to resolve design and production issues.
- Be a key technical resource in design transfer, qualification, and validation activities.
As a consultant, you will work on diverse projects ranging from start-ups to industry leaders, some days from the office in Hørsholm, some days onsite at the clients, and some days remote. And by the way: being a consultant at Technolution is not the equivalent of being a lone wolf. You will always be part of a team; at the clients or at Technolution.
Your qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineering.
- Good experience in late-stage mechanical development.
- Proficiency in robust design disciplines.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of injection molding is a plus.
