What will you do?
As our Insurance & Risk Manager, you will:
- Develop and manage Cadeler’s insurance program, ensuring comprehensive onshore and offshore operations coverage.
- Serve as the key liaison between business units and Cadeler’s insurance brokers for policy management and renewal.
- Build strong relationships with brokers and insurers to optimize coverage and pricing.
- Collaborate with our legal team for review of insurance-related contractual terms and to develop and implement best practices across Cadeler’s commercial contracts.
- Shape Cadeler’s risk management function, advising the business in assessing and mitigating both insurable and uninsurable risks and continuously reviewing our risk profile.
- Support market entry and manage local operations, overseeing insurance due diligence.

Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, finance, engineering, or a related field relevant to insurance management and risk assessment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance and risk management.
- Familiarity with global insurance programs and the challenges faced by insured parties.
- Understanding of key contractual provisions relevant to risk and insurance in customer and supplier agreements.
- Experience with insurance risks in the offshore sector (e.g., P&I, Hull and Machinery, and Builders All Risk policies) is a plus.
Relocation will be needed for this position, if you are not currently based in either Copenhagen or Great Yarmouth (Norwich area).
