You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting, supporting global projects, and contributing to impactful development initiatives. As Financial Controller, you will become:
A vital member of our Finance team of 10 professionals, working on financial administration and monitoring of projects funded by key donors like Danida and the EU. This role will give you the opportunity to shape, improve, and support financial systems across our organization. Your main areas of responsibility will be to:
- Oversee financial controlling for monthly close processes.
- Conduct business controlling with various teams in collaboration with team managers.
- Lead annual and ongoing budget planning processes with team leaders.
- Assist with year-end closing tasks alongside the finance team and auditors.
- Support the controlling and financial oversight of donor-funded projects.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial tools to streamline reporting and control processes.

Your Profile
You are flexible and thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple deadlines. You bring a positive attitude to your work, enjoy an informal atmosphere, and are motivated by a day-to-day that includes both operational tasks and development opportunities. You have the following:
- An academic degree in financial management, business administration, audit, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent Excel skills and the ability to use ERP software tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your assigned tasks.
- A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
- The ability to handle multiple deadlines and manage your workload, even in high-stress periods.
It will be considered a distinct advantage if you have experience within the NGO sector or with donor-funded projects, familiarity with Microsoft’s Business Central and Power BI or knowledge of bookkeeping principles and donor compliance requirements.
