WE ARE SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND FORWARD-THINKING PRODUCTION MANAGER TO JOIN OUR READY-TO-WEAR TEAM, BASED IN COPENHAGEN.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and manage our production processes and contribute to our ongoing commitment to responsible fashion.
You will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence within our production processes, ensuring that Ganni’s ready-to-wear collections are produced on time, responsibly, with the highest standards of quality.

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
As a Production Manager for Ready-to-Wear, you will oversee the production of our seasonal collections, ensuring that all products are manufactured on time, within budget, and in line with Ganni's sustainability and quality standards. You will work closely with our Design, Product Development, and Quality teams, as well as our external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the production cycle.

In this role, you will help integrate sustainability into every stage of the production process, from raw material procurment, sourcing new suppliers and to managing partner relationships. You will cover end to end production management, You will also monitor quality control, optimize production workflows, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold Ganni’s values of responsibility and ethical production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-End Production Management: Oversee the production process for Ready to Wear collections, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and adherence to budgets.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure high standards in product quality and ethical practices.
  • Cost and Budget Management: Lead cost negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers, driving cost efficiency while ensuring that production quality and sustainability targets are met. Use influence and strong communication skills to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms, without compromising on Ganni’s ethical standards.
  • Quality Control & Process Optimization: Monitor product quality throughout the production cycle, ensuring compliance with Ganni’s standards. Lead initiatives to streamline production processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Factory Visits & Relationship Management: Conduct regular visits to production facilities to maintain strong relationships, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with Ganni’s ethical and sustainability guidelines.
  • Sustainability Integration: Collaborate with the Sustainability team to align production processes with Ganni’s sustainability strategy, focusing on reducing environmental impact, sourcing sustainable materials, and improving factory working conditions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements to production processes, helping to implement best practices and improve performance across the supply chain.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in fashion production and/or sourcing, with a deep understanding of ready-to-wear manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing global garment suppliers with a strong focus on quality control, delivery timelines, cost negotiation, and sustainability.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate costs – you have a proven track record in negotiation, terms, and lead times with suppliers while balancing cost efficiency with Ganni’s sustainability and quality standards.
  • Strong technical understanding of garment manufacturing and processes – to influence decision-making and drive product quality
  • A solid understanding of industry quality standards – you have proven experience in managing operational processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for sustainability – knowledgeable about the challenges and opportunities in the fashion industry and committed to creating positive change through responsible production practices.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to articulate complex information clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Fluent in English.
  • Influence and negotiation Skills – the ability to drive cost-effective solutions by negotiating favourable terms with suppliers and influencing stakeholders to achieve optimal production outcomes.
  • Solution-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills – capable of working cross-functionally and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Willingness to travel – ability to travel 20+ days per year to visit manufacturing partners and oversee production.
