If so, we invite you to join our team as a Senior Project Manager within the Digital, Data & IT, Research and Early Development at Novo Nordisk.
The position
As our Senior Project Manager you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met on time and within budget. You will be responsible for ensuring the team works with a focus on purpose and outcome, and you manage to balance tight project deadlines with a focus on the team and team members wellbeing.
You will be working on one or several projects within the Research & Early Development portfolio. Your project could ensure faster path from laboratory experiment to insight or providing new analytical capabilities on scientific data, which is basis for identifying new medicines for our patients. Depending on the size of your project, you will have project management responsibility for up to 10 colleagues and maintain a budget up to 30 million DKK. Depending on the development off our portfolio, you are also willing to take an active role in our agile delivery setup. You are capable of applying your PM skills in an agile delivery setup, and you embrace and support agile ways of working
In the current project in question, you are expected to:
- Manage the development and implementation of comprehensive data analytics platforms designed to enhance project valuation and portfolio management
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, integrate new data sources, and adapt to changes in the R&D structure
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring a focus on purpose and outcome, project milestones are achieved, and potential risks are mitigated.
- Lead the development of AI-driven solutions aimed at improving governance and decision-making processes, including managing IT security requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement risk controls, as well as managing dependencies in a timely manner
We prefer you work with project team members to provide clear goals and purpose for the projects itself and ensure effective use of time and resources and build employee motivation. You are good in organizing project teams, assign responsibilities and develop project schedules.
Candidate profile
We expect you have a BSc or MSc degree in relevant field with a proven experience in project management, particularly in managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.
In addition, you have:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams
- Experience in data analytics platforms, AI-driven solutions, and IT security requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage resources, schedules, and project milestones effectively
- Familiar with both agile as well as other delivery methodologies
You are a strategic thinker and a problem solver with people management skills and have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders.
