About the role
With its ongoing ERP Transformation DFDS is embarking on a digital transformation across Finance and Procurement.
Replacing all current ERP solutions with D365FO across more than 20 markets and +100 entities is a key part of our ambition towards becoming a more digitized operator.
To continue our work towards achieving our goals, we are looking for an ambitious Business Analyst that wants to help deliver on our ambitious digitalization.
Your focus as a Business Analyst will be to bridge DFDS line of business systems and D365F&O by mapping, and documenting business process flows.
Moreover, you will have a key role in assisting securing the future strategy for moving critical business functionality out of DFDS line of business systems and into D365F&O together with our Lead Architect.
As the Atlas Programme matures, you'll play a critical role in end-to-end process understanding and optimization.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Analysing data, existing business processes and requirements for systems that need to integrate to D365F&O
- Aligning with Subject Matter Experts and relevant stakeholders to ensure that requirements are captured accordingly and accurate
- Gaining an understanding of financial processes and transactions associated with each of the systems and ensuring that the programme has the needed information to integrate D365F&O as efficiently as possible
- Designing and documenting integrations and solutions in accordance with best practice and architectural guidelines
- Securing proper handover to the ERP operational support unit
- Delivering end-to-end process understanding for best possible project execution within other prioritized improvements within the Programme
About you

With this in mind, we think that your background into the role as a Business Analyst can be many, but we imagine that:
- You are either an experienced business analyst, or a junior business analyst with a strong improvement mindset and willingness to learn
- You are curious on learning new functionalities and developing your skills through whatever kind of learning channel available, which also include training, research and development on your own
- You are excellent in analysing and understanding business processes from the functional side
- You have experience in workshop facilitation, and is great at asking the right questions
- You have an analytical mindset and proven technical toolbox
- You have very strong communication skills. There is a hard requirement in being able to discuss with colleagues from different business units and backgrounds
- You have a strong English proficiency, both in writing and orally
- You have strong stakeholder management skills. You will need to keep track, inform and work together with a myriad of stakeholders
- It is a plus if you can document end-to-end experience from previous digital transformation projects.
We do not expect you to know all about business processes or system setup/configuration of D365F&O, but it is a prerequisite that you have fundamental knowledge of D365F&O or Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
