Core Responsibilities
- Lead the process of selecting technology concepts from the research pipeline that align with Novelty requirements and bridging innovative technology with strategic market launch plans (mid to long term).
- Define, manage, and optimize the processes for building platforms and standardized technologies for integration in the electro-mechanical elements, and ensuring this is reflected in the further development of TDP.
- Facilitate the creation of unified technology platforms with high reusability across different elements and products, and scope these into tech-element development programs and value streams.
- Collaborate closely with Operations teams to streamline components, suppliers, and technologies, ensuring a foundation for cost efficiency and strategic partnerships.
- Act as a key influencer within the organization, demonstrating strong partner management to drive success across teams, along the full value chain.
- Drive critical program operations from its conceptualization to implementation, including but not limited to the delivery of cross-elements projects and the engineering excellence transformation initiatives.

Principal Technology Platform Program Lead is driving the complex and sophisticated projects delivering the tech enabled projects that have high dependencies in Play Engineering. The team works multi-functional and supports the projects end to end – from idea to actual manufacturing..
Do you have what it takes?
- Demonstrable experience in facilitating technology concept selection, platform development, and related fields within consumer electronics industry.
- Solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems, firmware, software development, and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to develop and implement processes that enhance technology reuse and efficiency across multiple product lines.
- Strong partner management skills, with the ability to influence and get results across diverse teams and functions.
- Strategic approach with the ability to balance innovation, cost efficiency, and market needs in technology development.
- Experience in working with supply chain management (OPS) and evaluating outsourcing opportunities to optimize production and development processes.
- Extensive hands-on experience in consumer electronics engineering project management and delivery in robotics/ mechatronics, mechanical, electronics, systems, or a closely related field.
- Solid experience in leading a multi-functional team and people in a related field focused on e.g., mechatronics, robotics and/or consumer electronics, in collaboration with multiple cross-organisation teams such as engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Experience in bringing technology development projects to scale by active dealing with Operations teams as receiving party including insight in manufacturing and test processes
- Demonstrable experience in people leadership through strong multi-functional and organizational indirect leadership.
- Willingness to establish and lead a multi-functional team, as part of a larger regional team and foster a positive culture, effective teamwork, and collaboration.
- A can-do attitude, superb communication, and motivational skills.
- Strong collaboration and partner leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with passion for new technologies and to drive innovation.
- Strategic and well-rounded problem solver with attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to travel as necessary(approx. 20-30 days per year)
Nice to have :
- Knowledge of professional systems engineering practices & standard processes for the full development life cycle, including planning, risk management, and collaborator management
- Technically savvy and have educated discussions with the team about cost, quality and scaling
- Having Project Planning Tool experience (e.g. Microsoft Project Plan)
- Experience in working multi-functionally with internal and external partners
