The Position
Your team consist of highly skilled engineers and technicians that support our pre-assembly production in Hillerød. They handle systematic problem solving, improvements, upgrades, life cycle management, and other production related projects.
As a production support manager, you will work closely with your people to keep a high level of professional passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit. Your team will ensure support to our inhouse production, as well as collaborating closely with our global network of assembly lines. A constant focus on improving the technical performance requires frequent interaction with all relevant stake holders, such as local/global production sites, our equipment supplier, Quality experts etc.
You will create a culture ready to ensure ongoing optimizations by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees. A high amount of focus will be placed on Lean methodologies such as systematic problem solving, continuous improvements and standardization.
As manager of the support team, you will be part of Device Component Production department, where you will become part of a highly engaged management team. Here you will be able to impact the strategic direction of the department and help forming the future.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:
- A bachelor’s degree within Technical, Mechanical or Production Engineering, Life sciences or similar.
- 2+ years of management experience preferably within advanced production.
- Experience from the pharmaceutical industry together with GxP and production knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English and at least the ability to communicate and understand Danish.
On a professional level, your quality mind-set and business sense are well developed, you have a systematic approach to problems, and you are a team player who achieves specified goals.
You know how to listen, show respect, and evaluate problems in a concrete manner that creates solutions, which enables you to build trust in your relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with bold targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions.
About the Department
You will join Device Component Production (DCP) in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 330 colleagues, working across two production units: Moulding Production and Pre-Assembly, where this team is located. In Pre-Assembly we produce the mechanical motor module in Novo Nordisk’s newest prefilled devices.
