You can look forward to an exciting, challenging, and international environment, where you’ll have ample opportunity to develop your career while making your mark on the important transition to renewable energy.
Welcome to NEP Procurement
You’ll be part of the Northeast Programme Procurement team, where you, together with your colleagues, will support the execution of our projects. You’ll also be supported by the contract management community where lessons learned are communicated. Your colleagues will be in Denmark, the US, UK, and Poland and we all have a common goal of delivering the Northeast Programme projects, managing the risks and maximising the value that contract management can provide. As a team, we like to have fun, support and help each other out, and put a lot of pride in high-quality work.
You’ll play an important role in:
- delivering maximum value through procurement activities and claims management
- developing the Contract Management team
- establishing contract management plans and strategies (risk and benefit) for critical contracts
- establishing negotiation plans for claims settlements
- ensuring that lessons learned are passed on
- establishing demand planning routines and being proactive on expiring contracts
- eliminating inefficiencies in the process finding potential improvements and simplifications.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a bachelor’s degree or similar and extensive experience working in sourcing or contract management
- have significant experience in contract management or procurement roles on large-scale construction projects, preferably in the energy industry
- demonstrate the capacity to solve problems and keep complex projects on track
- have proven negotiation skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners while maintaining contractual and business objectives
- take a proactive and systematic approach to your work and are able to balance competing priorities in a large matrix organisation.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
