The Position
As a Senior Health and Safety Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting health and safety activities across our PS AM Bagsværd site. You will be part of a dedi-cated and skilled EHS team of eight professionals, contributing to a broad network of Health & Safety experts across Novo Nordisk.
Your responsibilities:
• Advisor to EHS manager and Corporate Vice President (CVP) on Health & Safety matters.
• Responsible for driving and coordinating Novo Nordisk health- and safety man-agement system and processes with initiatives and external audits.
Contribute and implement Novo Nordisk HS strategy, set goals, and follow up on these. Secure that we live up to the Novo Nordisk HS and Product Supply AM ambitions.
• Collaborate with People Managers, HS Representatives, Work Wise Trainer, Elec-trical and ATEX/CE Responsible, Maintenance (HS legal), Facility Manager, Project Managers and Senior Environmental Professionals within the (E)HS process in agreement with Novo Nordisk Way and Health & Safety policy.
Qualifications
You enjoy working independently and have the competencies to drive processes and systems in collaboration with peers and colleagues. You thrive in working structured and can handle a large network of stakeholders across the whole organization.
To succeed in this role, you have:
• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or other relevant education
• At least 3 years of Health & Safety experience, including managerial roles
• In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety, leadership skills
• Fluency in English, Danish is highly preferable and recommended
On a personal level, you are a proactive and safety-focused professional with strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. You bring an innovative mindset and excel at inspiring and motivating teams to achieve high standards in HS perfor-mance. As a strategic planner with a results-driven approach, you have a talent for em-powering others and developing their potential, demonstrating leadership in guiding teams toward shared goals.
About the Department
At Novo Nordisk’s production site in Bagsværd we produce marketed products and products for clinical trials. Our aseptic production is an important part of providing quali-ty products to patients globally. We are on an ambitious technological journey to future-proof the production facility. The department is a vital part of this journey and advise both projects and production in health- and safety related topics.
