Program Manager – Defence Services Nordic

As part of the growth journey, Systematic is expanding the organization of Defence Services in the Nordic.
A leadership role with overall responsibility for project delivery and implementation
The new Program Manager for the Nordic Constellation service team will be a key member of the management team in the Nordic organization which is responsible for executing projects in Scandinavia and the Baltic countries. You will report to the Program Manager with the overall responsibility of the entire Nordic Constellation.
As Program Manager you will head project operations and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. The projects involve deploying the Defence product suites SitaWare and Iris into Systematic customers organisation, offering training services, technical support for military exercises, providing guidance for optimal product use, quality assurance activities and development of integration and extension modules. In addition, you will have the people management responsibility of experienced Project Managers at the Danish locations.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Ensure delivery on agreed scope, schedule and quality, while maintaining and developing the long-term customer relationship
- Drive business development, including creating and scoping solutions, estimating and writing proposals
- People management, responsibility for project managers and technicians, including recruitment, development and retention
- Together with the business development, expand and extend Systematics engagement on new and mature markets
Leadership, customer-centric mindset, and stakeholder management
To succeed in this role, you have significant experience with project management and a proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing complex software projects. You have experience from a customer-facing role and have successfully managed and navigated in complex stakeholder’s landscapes and business environments, ideally in a global context as well as you have a proven ability to build strong customer relations.
You have leadership skills and experience from a similar position with people leadership, coaching, team development and motivation. As a leader you are known for prioritizing results, demonstrating clear and decisive leadership and you excel at building and developing teams, foster collaboration among colleagues, and drive organizational growth.
You have experience from working in a medium to large company that is mature in software/IT development. In addition, you have as minimum an IT related education at bachelor’s or master’s level and your toolbox includes one or more of the following certifications: PMI/PMP, PRINCE2 or IPMA Level B/C. Your Danish and English skills are excellent both orally and in writing.
