Therefore, we are currently looking for a FP&A Analyst to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Team and Role
As our new FP&A Analyst, where you probably are relatively new on the job market, you will have a broad role where you will face many different tasks. You will in close collaboration with the team and the Head of FP&A drive the planning cycle and be involved in the reporting structure and governance. As part of the role, you will be a key player in handling the planning tool we use for budget and forecast and together with our Finance Systems team stable performance. Therefore, you likely have a technical interest and knowledge.
You will become a key "go to" person for gathering the technical needs from FP&A towards finance systems. Moreover, you will educate and train your colleagues within Global Finance and the rest of the organization, in the FP&A tools and processes. In addition, you will participate in various projects to enhance the different processes and tools in FP&A and will work together with various stakeholders across Terma. We are an agile team who support each other; hence you should also expect a part of your job to support our project controllers with some hands-on tasks.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- FP&A planning cycle, including budget and forecast process
- Participate in evolving the reporting structure and governance
- Be the “technical” focal point for FP&A and particular manage our planning/forecast tool
- Initially support with project controlling to get the understanding of these tasks --> will over time be reduced
- Participate in developing and evolving our “How we Operate” in FP&A
- Working closely with stakeholders across Terma
Qualifications
The key qualifications include:
- You preferably have had some experience within Financial Analysis or FP&A activities, such as planning cycle, reporting, including reporting structure and governance
- You preferably have worked with reporting including building and enhancing reporting, it is an advantage if you have worked with PowerBI towards end-users in the business
- You have technical interest and flair regarding (finance) systems and tools
- You preferably have some experience with process optimization
- You like interacting with stakeholders across the value chain and you can on your own drive meetings, projects etc.
Required education/degree:
- Preferable you have a Master’s degree within Finance (such as MAC, FIB or similar). However, you can also be considered if you have another degree as well as solid experience working within Finance.

- You are ambitious and want to learn and grow
- Analytical mindset and you can look into details and have a holistic view
- You have a good at structuring way of working and find an interest in understanding how business operations and the planning tools are working together
- You must be able to communicate and listen to stakeholders and bring knowledge into a FP&A setting
- Openminded towards tasks spanning from easy to complex and from routine to “unknown” territory
