Blue Power Partners is powering onshore/offshore wind farm projects and solar projects. Focused on counselling, development, construction and commercial operations, we support worldwide leading developers, suppliers and asset owners in this field. Currently, we are expanding our activities in Romania and therefore, we are looking for a new colleague, who must have a profound knowledge of the wind and solar market and a successful track-record in construction management.
About You
We value the right match of personal and professional skills and the ideal candidate should as a minimum bring the following skillset to our team:
- Degree in Engineering or other secondary education supporting wind farm or construction management.
- Minimum 8 years’ Project Management experience within wind.
- Preferably PMP certified.
- Experience with management of multiple contractual partners and having to navigate in a complex contractual landscape.
- Ability to identify and manage risks within time constraints.
- Independent self-starter with strong team spirit skills.
- Results-oriented with a dynamic and quick approach to finding solutions.
- Strong sense of responsibility and high-quality mindset.
- Mature, positive and professional in actions and appearance.
- Client-centric approach with great networking capabilities.
- Profound IT skills.
- Strong language skills in English.
About the Job
Together with a lean, on-site team, you act as the primary representative for our clients towards project contractors and is responsible for ensuring that general contractor is performing in accordance with contractual terms and conditions. Apart from your team, you will be interacting with a number of stakeholders (landowners, community leaders, project management, etc.) and must therefore possess excellent written and verbal communications and facilitation skills. You will be reporting to the Project Director who is overall responsible for the project and reports to the project board.
Travelling to site at least once per month is expected.
- Provide team direction.
- Oversee project and ensure all day-to-day operations are performed safely, efficiently and timely.
- Evaluate and document project schedule for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform inspections and evaluate performance of subcontractors.
- Maintain activity logs, prepare documentation and reports for clients.
- Coordinate planning and secure onsite manpower and resources.
- Work with our engineering team to ensure timely review of design reviews and management of non-conformance.
- Work with our environmental, permitting and land team to ensure that all obligations are met timely.
- Risk management.
