As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for a Financial Controller to help streamline and support our financial processes, enabling our team to focus on driving Lunar forward.

As our new Financial Controller, you will join our Finance team, reporting to Jane Raagaard. The team currently includes 2 talented individuals based in Copenhagen, who focus on ensuring smooth financial operations and reporting within the broader Finance function, led by Martin, CFO.

What will you do?

• Prepare and manage month-end processes, including reconciliations.
• Support with tax returns, year-end tasks, and annual reports.
• Assist with consolidations and help bridge accounting and financial controlling tasks.
• Analyze financial statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to optimizing financial processes and finding smarter ways of working.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in financial controlling, ideally in a financial institution.
• Good understanding of accounting to help support our team with reconciliations.
• Solid knowledge of financial statements, balance sheets, and how reconciliations work.
• Detail-focused, analytical, and eager to dig into processes.
• Proactive and ready to challenge the norm, with bonus points if you're into improving processes.
• Excited to learn and develop in a role offering great growth opportunities.
