As our new Strategy Project Manager for our Offshore Business Unityou will be proactively providing executive support in a one-on-one trusted working relationship with the Head of Offshore. You will play an active role in establishing efficient communication between the Head of Offshore and all levels of the organization as well as actively managing relevant interfaces. You will have the possibility to drive transformation projects across the Offshore Business. You enjoy working in a results-driven & fast paced environment and we rely on your good judgment in a variety of situations.
Setting and managing a variety of priorities will be key and we count on your strong ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and stakeholders. The Strategy Project Manager will have the opportunity to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and is able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
What are my responsibilities?
- Providing proactive, comprehensive executive business support to the Head of Offshore, including ideation of levers for operational improvements
- Drive important project across the Business Unit
- Preparing content, leading and following up of all key meetings at the leadership and company level and capturing important information and action items to help facilitating accountability among key stakeholders
- Drive and orchestrate top-management reporting for Offshore Management, C-Level as well as investors
- Assisting with Executive communication. Write, proofread, and edit correspondence, documents, and presentations as needed. Plan and coordinate assigned communication activities.
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
- Prioritizing conflicting needs; handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Communicating directly, and on behalf of the Head of Offshore, with Board members, staff and others on matters related to Offshore’s initiatives.
- Researching, prioritizing and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Head of Offshore, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determining appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Master’s degree, probably in Engineering or Business/Finance, coupled with an interest in energy markets, and how wind farm projects create financial value for customers
- Informal and positive mind-set towards others, and the ability to establish trust-based relationships, both within and outside the organization
- Ability to juggle many balls at the same time, and to manage (big and small) projects without losing sight of important details
- Good communication skills, written as well as verbally
- Interest in working and learning in a complex business environment, where technical, financial and legal inputs come together
- Lots of energy and drive, and a mind-set that makes the candidate go the extra mile to get things just right
- MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
