Your Role
At Kuehne+Nagel, we are dedicated to ensuring the integrity and quality of our supply chain, particularly for sensitive healthcare products. This is not just about moving shipments; it’s about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our clients' patients. As our Global Supply Chain Integrity Manager, you will play a crucial role in upholding our standards of excellence by managing and analyzing quality assurance processes across multiple modes of transport (air, sea, road). You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify root causes of issues, initiate corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role can be based in Europe or the Americas.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the cross-BU (air, sea, road) CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes to ensure high standards of quality for our healthcare clients.
- Request input on root causes and corrective actions from internal teams, suppliers, and clients; validate this information against established processes within the transportation supply chain.
- Craft detailed responses on CAPA/RCA topics for key healthcare customers, ensuring complete engagement until issues are fully resolved.
- Work closely with all involved parties to track and complete corrective actions for identified issues.
- Lead the analysis of CAPA/RCA trends and initiate corrective actions for repetitive issues, collaborating with agreed interface partners for improvement.
- Spearhead specific performance improvement projects identified through trend analysis, KPI evaluations, and performance metrics.
- Take on additional responsibilities in quality assurance, such as lane-risk assessments and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) review and corrective actions, as the role evolves.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3+ years in the Logistics and Transportation sector, with a focus on Airfreight, Seafreight or Roadfreight operations.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role in Logistics, ideally with healthcare clients.
- Strong background in quality management, particularly for healthcare customers.
- A quality-focused and analytical mindset with a proactive, self-driven approach to managing work.
- Ability to validate and challenge information received from operations and suppliers by considering the broader transportation supply chain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across various hierarchical levels and interest groups globally.
- High proficiency with MS Office and, ideally, experience with Kuehne+Nagel’s TMS and TIP systems.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written; additional language skills are a plus.
