Do you have a strong personal drive, curiosity and are self-driven with an innovative and quality mindset? Then you may be our new research associate in the Chemical team in Kalundborg.
Welcome to the Chemical team
In the Chemical team in Kalundborg, we have a focus on optimizing current Quality Control (QC) methods and develop a wide array of new chemical/physical methods for the New Product Development (NPD) projects. We act as the interface between R&D and QC and optimize and transfer analytical assays from early development to QC lab procedures. We are a small team of four people responsible for the chemical area, but we are part of a larger department anchored in Bagsværd.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Your role will be to work closely with both R&D and QC. You will be responsible for preparing, conducting and documenting experiments in close collaboration with one or more research scientists. You will be part of a team responsible for developing, validating and subsequently implementing analytical assays in our QC laboratories worldwide. You will share the lab with people from R&D and QC lab, and you will have a lot of good colleagues that we collaborate with in these departments. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build up new skills and work in a dynamic international organization.
To succeed you must hold:
- Have an education as Research Associate (Laborant/Laboratory Technician) or equivalent
- Preferably hands-on experience with chemical methods, e.g. HPLC/UPLC, GC, or LC-MS, either from a research area or QC laboratory
- High quality and analytical approach to your work
- An open minded and positive attitude and a wish to achieve results together with others as well as working independently
- An interest in data analysis and digital tools
- Be able to change between tasks and tackle multiple projects
- Desire to learn new things and take ownership
- Be fluent in reading and writing English, since this is the default language in instructions and procedures
The position will involve many different analytical platforms, and our emphasis in the hiring process will be on the personal level, then we will train for skills.
