Then here is the opportunity to become our new Scientist within Coloplast Consumer Products (CCP).

Help deliver new and better innovative products to the markets
Joining us in our Coloplast HQ in Humlebæk, you will become part of the R&D and Life Cycle Management team, which consists of 13 highly competent and dedicated colleagues. Together with other functions in Coloplast, we support the CCP business. CCP is responsible for developing premium plasters under the brands Compeed, Mederma, Band-Aid and Neutrogena for the companies Perrigo and Kenvue, which market these products worldwide.

The job
To further strengthen our business area, we are looking for a scientist with primary focus on the life cycle management activities of our existing portfolio. This includes creating and upgrading design control documentation in close collaboration with our customers, design and validate test methods and handling both non-conformities, responsible for some of the forced material changes and change control. Furthermore, you will be part of cross-functional projects with the aim of developing innovative products. You will be able to plan your own tasks according to the overall project timelines and ensure that your results are delivered on time and meet the expected quality.

Broad knowledge of materials and ability to work in a dynamic environment
To become a success in the role, you have a broad knowledge of materials, and you have a good understanding of the related manufacturing processes. You understand the interaction between different materials used in products and the way they contribute to overall product performance.
As a person, you are ambitious, energetic, result-oriented, curious and can think outside the box to deliver the best solutions to our customers. You like to be challenged through your work and work in a dynamic environment. You can create structure and an overview of complex matters without losing sight of the details. You enjoy working in teams where, as a specialist, you contribute by providing technical insight.

Furthermore, we expect you have:

  • A Ph.D. or M.Sc. within polymers, materials or chemistry or comparable education
  • Knowledge and experience working with polymers and other materials
  • Slilled and experience working with physical test methods for materials, such as mechanical characterization
  • Knowledge within statistical methods and tools for data evaluation
  • Able to comprehend and use data in scientific texts to support product documentation
  • Can create well-structured and well-written technical/scientific documents for internal and external use
  • Communicate efficiently in written and verbal English

It’s a further advantage if you have knowledge or experience with the following:

  • Design Control requirements for Medical Device Products
  • Non-conformity and change control processes
  • Working with adhesive systems
  • Test method development and validation
  • Product development value chain
