DATA & AI engineer/Architect

Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Microsoft DATA & AI Engineer/Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our data science and machine learning initiatives forward, translating business problems into analytical solutions and leading projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Data Science & Functional Lead
• Link domain knowledge with data science practices.
• Translate business problems into analytical or modeling problems.
• Identify data sources and architect AI/ML solutions.
• Lead project workstreams and manage data science/machine learning projects, including sprint management if working in agile environments.

Data Engineer Tasks

• Perform data modeling and build data pipelines and data lakes.
• Utilize scalable programming frameworks.

Machine Learning Tasks

• Leverage understanding of ML algorithms and platforms to execute data science algorithms in business-as-usual (BAU) client systems and processes.
• Manage models, package production builds, create serving APIs, monitor models, and implement model CI/CD.

Data Science Tasks

• Drive new data insights to uncover business opportunities and revenue streams.
• Understand and apply statistics and data visualization to communicate findings effectively.
• Identify new analytic trends and data needs and develop repeatable analytic solutions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions.

Qualifications
Required Skills

• Strong industry/function domain knowledge and experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the data science lifecycle.
• Proven project management skills.
• High-level data engineering knowledge and skills.

Certifications

• Data Science certifications relevant to the Data Scientist role.
• Agile training certifications.
• Medium-level Data Engineering training.
• Industry/function-specific training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in data science, AI/ML, or data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
