Director of FurnMaster PL

The Director will ensure that the plant meets its production goals, quality standards, safety regulations, and budget constraints. The Director will manage activities of different departments, such as production, supply chain, quality control, R&D, and finance. Will also actively cooperate with the Group and participate in the Management Meetings.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who can develop and manage the plant with the best production practices and still in the spirit of the modern and open management style.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead Operations: Ensure site operations excel in efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Strategically develop the Company: Further develop and achieve business potential.
- Customer Relations and project management supported by a strong team of Project Managers.
- Strategically Develop Managers and Departments: Continuously develop managers and align production, R&D and supply chain with company goals, setting the stage for dedicated managerial roles.
- Cultivate Culture: Foster continuous improvement, teamwork, and a supportive environment.
- External Representation: Act as a company liaison with stakeholders, suppliers, and industry activities.
- Optimising: Production, supply chain and administration flow and continuously developing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Performance Monitoring: Align site operations with KPIs, manage risks, and oversee asset management.
- Reporting: on an ongoing basis, to the Board of the Company and to persons assigned by the Board, including preparing materials for board meetings.
Expectations:
- University Degree (BA, MA) in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or similar with additional economic / commercial background.
- + 5 years of managerial experience with full P&L responsibility obtained from midsize furniture-oriented companies (preferred)
- Several years of management and leadership experience of diverse teams at A or B level within international companies
- Proven track record in leading multi-functional organization consisting of production, supply chain, quality, technical as well as finance.
- Goal-oriented, excellent in communication, capable of handling dynamic workloads with empathy and professionalism
- Commercial mindset, focus on suppliers and customers, and products that optimize costs
- Excellent at decision-making and data analysis, quick to adapt to the company’s culture and values
- Innovating for efficiency and change, with a solid health and safety compliance background
