Imagine yourself as a pivotal member of our Ocean FP&A team, where your work will drive overall financial planning and analysis for Maersk’s largest segment. You will help deliver actionable insights for strategic decision-making, directly collaborating with senior management and providing valuable visibility to help steer our transformation and long-term goals.
Opportunity:
We’re searching for an ambitious Financial Analyst who is ready to immerse themselves in our dynamic team, serving as a key partner for business planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance management, and competitive analysis. You will collaborate across departments, consolidate and analyze performance stories, support strategic decisions, and prepare financial forecasts for the Ocean segment. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Manage and model input from business stakeholders, ensuring top-notch deliverables on budget, forecasts, and business plans.
- Financial Analysis: Dive into competitive analysis, trade mix, revenue recognition patterns, and more to guide business decision-making.
- Business Partnering: Support and shape business decisions with data-driven scenario analysis for senior leadership, and provide relevant insights for evolving needs.
- Performance Management: Drive timely, accurate, and aligned reporting of financial and operational KPIs. Act as the analytical cornerstone for performance reviews.
- Continuous Improvements: Lead the simplification of existing processes, enhance analytics tools, and drive automation for forecast reporting.
We Are Looking For:
A driven, motivated individual with a Master’s degree in finance or economics and at least 3 years of experience in financial analysis. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by applying your expertise in a dynamic and fast-moving industry environment.
Additionally, you:
- Are results-driven with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- Have a solid grasp of financial reporting and planning.
- Excel in storytelling within management reporting contexts.
- Demonstrate initiative, continuously striving for process improvement.
- Possess strong teamwork and the ability to influence, engage, and challenge stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively, with outstanding interpersonal skills and high integrity.
- Thrive in fast-paced, complex environments with competing priorities.
- Are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (experience with BI systems is a plus).
- Are fluent in English (Danish not required).
