At KPMG, we are looking for a dedicated professional with a generalist risk profile to join our Financial Services Advisory team. As a Senior Consultant or Manager at KPMG, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in enhancing their risk frameworks and meeting the increasing regulatory expectations. Joining us means guiding clients through the complexities of established and evolving regulatory frameworks.
About the position
As our new colleague in Financial Services Advisory, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide strategic financial consulting services to our clients, e.g., banks, financial supervisory authorities, pension funds, and insurance companies.
- Engage in diverse projects within areas such as Risk Appetite Frameworks, Recovery and Resolution, ERM, TPRM and Data Privacy by supporting risk and compliance functions and/or internal audit.
- Conduct gap assessments, propose and execute mitigating plans regarding the above-mentioned risk areas.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues across different areas, at times coordinating their effort to achieve compliance with relevant legislations.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in business development, proposals, and client pitches.
- Take part in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
By engaging in diverse projects, you will be intellectually challenged and continuously develop your theoretical competencies and practical toolkit in consultancy.
The successful candidate
The successful candidate is more than just a qualitative risk expert – also a passionate learner and professional grower. We will look for the following qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a risk related field, e.g., in finance, economics, business, information technology, risk management or actuarial science.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management or internal audit within a financial institution or a consulting firm.
- Proven experience in assessing, designing, and implementing risk management frameworks.
- The ability to successfully communicate complex issues in verbal and written English.

This position involves limited international travel activity. Your working address will be at Dampfærgevej 28 and at the client’s site. We offer flexible work-from-home opportunities but prioritize meeting at the office on Fridays to be with colleagues.
