Carbon Capture Business Developer

Join us in this role where you’ll work together with a skilled team on the maturation of our upcoming bid proposal to the Danish CCS tender. Here you’ll play a key role in the development of the bid-proposal and will be responsible for execution of the bid-proposal delivery plan, and ensuring highest quality of the information and transparency on assumptions worked with across the commercial, technical, and financial tracks.

You’ll be part of the CCx team where you, together with your colleagues, will work on the development of our CCS portfolio and projects, from project idea conceptualisation to development of revenue streams, collaboration partners, etc., with key focus on driving these projects forward. As a team, we are highly driven and passionate about the green energy transition, and through a collaborative and trust-based environment we focus on the development of value-impacting opportunities.
You’ll play an important role in:
- driving, structuring and executing the development of our bid proposal for the CCS tender
- driving the preparation and negotiation of bid-relevant meetings with the DEA (Danish Energy Agency) and commercial clients
- leading the development of a winning bid strategy through understanding the customer´s (the Danish Energy Agency) need and Ørsted Bioenergy’s ability to meet and exceed these
- contributing to and leading development of business development tracks on the Carbon Capture portfolio and projects
- gaining unique business, market, and regulatory understanding i.e., through initiating market analyses, and communicating key findings and development of next steps.
To succeed in the role, you:
- hold a master's degree in economics, civil engineer or similar, and/or some years relevant work experience
- have a strong analytical and structured approach, enabling you to handle a range of complex tasks, a high learning agility, and a collaborative mindset with an eagerness to explore
- take initiative and draw intermediary conclusions based on available information and focus on delivery of tasks
- you thrive in a fast-paced environment, where decision and priorities may change, you are proactive and take on challenges when you see them
- are dynamic and have a strong sense of drive and can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
