The Cream category is vital to Arla Foods and a major contributor to the business through high-performing and well-tasting products. To secure excellent consumer satisfaction, we launch new cream products and optimize the existing portfolio while reducing complexity in our supply chain.

How you will make an impact
In this role you will be one of our cream experts with a deep understanding of ingredient functionality. You will develop, test, and document new and optimized cream products and in collaboration with internal teams and external partners, translating market demands into product recipes and processes.
Your assignments will include recipe and process development, product testing, troubleshooting, data collection, documentation, and project management. You will have many touch points within Arla as well as with external partners and suppliers.
Your key responsibility will be:
- Part of the end-to-end process from ideation to handover and implementation.
- Lead product development and be hands-on in developing, testing, and documenting new and optimized cream products.
- Lead selected product and process-related activities and closely collaborate with your team and across Arla functions.
- Develop and optimize cream product recipes by understanding ingredient functionality and interactions.
- Use your creativity to evolve our cream assortment by translating market demands into ready-to-use product recipes and processes.
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role, you are curious, open-minded, and able to see things from a broader perspective. Your comprehensive knowledge of ingredient properties and interactions is essential in creating exceptional cream products. Persistence is necessary to deliver your projects on time and within budget. You display a strong sense of quality in both products and your work, allowing you to plan, organize, and document your activities accordingly. You enjoy testing products in application and optimizing recipes for optimal functionality and taste.
Furthermore we imagine that you have:
- A background in dairy, food technology, or food science with extensive ingredient experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience from a similar position or a production environment, where you have successfully built a solid base of product and process knowledge.
- Application experience from the restaurant, bakery, or industry sectors is an advantage.
- As part of a global team, you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
