Core Responsibilities
With your strategic and forward-thinking mentality and ability to navigate in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, you will drive the LEGO Group’s Play Experiences Lifecycle Management (PELM) processes and capabilities transformation. This set of digital tools, process and capabilities enables the LEGO Group colleagues to imagine, develop and manufacture the existing and future LEGO Play Experiences - physical, hybrid, and digital – from idea to retirement. You will need the capabilities to:
Act as LEGO Group PELM Functional Business leader
- PELM vision: Develop a vision for the PELM Implementation and Transformation to successfully migrate the LEGO Group operations and overall business process activities to a new set of capabilities (including digital and others)
- Scope and risk management: Define PELM scope and manage delivery, including managing risks and dependencies
- Implementation plan: Develop a roadmap including change, business and technology milestones taking into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporating them into implementation plans
- Resourcing plan: Own the overall resourcing /staffing and budgeting to ensure the successful on time and on budget migration, in collaboration with other Senior leadership budget owners for PELM
- Daily planning and monitoring: Monitor daily planning and migration operations and address potential issues when they arise
- Process mapping & redesign management: Orchestrate the successful cross functional and aligned conclusion to design new processes that will improve quality or increase productivity and profitability with the new system
- Dependencies management with ERP transformation: In close collaboration with the ERP Transformation leads manage interdependencies between PELM and the ERP transformation programmes to ensure that both programmes can progress to plan
- Delivery of plan: Accountable for the delivery of the PELM transformation on time, in line with budget and performance indicators expectations, in collaboration with other PELM Senior Business leaders
Drive alignment in a diverse stakeholder organisation
- Run the PELM ELT & SLG SteerCo and provide steer to the Senior Leadership team on options and recommendations
- Establish and develop trust-based relationships with senior leaders
- Ensure alignment of senior leaders to successfully migrate to the new platform(s)/ capabilities
- Act as an escalation point when needed
- Programme communication to keep transparency on progress of the most important issues at hand
Lead a cross functional team (indirect leadership role):
- 20+ LEGO Group colleagues across functions including Digital, Finance, Operations and Product and Marketing Development who make up the programme including business and change management, product managers and process owners across the programme.
- Partner companies, supporting the business process, vision and change work, where relevant
We will assess collaboration competence, as this role will function as a cross-functional enabler, driving alignment and synergy across diverse teams and stakeholders.

The Head of PELM Implementation and Transformation is a Senior Director role, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer of the LEGO Group. This newly formed leadership role will lead one of the top business priorities of the CFO Organisation & the LEGO Group more broadly.
Do you have what it takes?
- Previous experience as a Senior leader driving large transformational digitally enabled programmes in large corporates
- Proven solid Programme Management experience in implementing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programmes
- Hands-on expertise and thorough understanding of the software environment and digital operating model(s) in particular in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Agile at scale product team delivery models
- Visionary mindset and ideation that sets the strategic course and moves the organization forward
- Significant experience in consulting / System integration in the areas of digital implementation and / or overall business transformation
- Problem solving: having a good strategy understanding to be able to quickly identify dependencies and simplify complex problems; analytical and data driven
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, skilled in collaboration and strategic partnering
- Passionate about the LEGO Group and a good fit to the culture - collaboration, value driven, bias for action
- Denmark based (BLL preferred, CPH possible with weekly travel to Billund)
