In this key role as the Executive Assistant to GN’s Chief R&D Officer (CRDO), you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.
You will provide coordination within the R&D leadership team and support the CRDO to ensure they can efficiently accomplish key tasks and company initiatives. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operation and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the CRDO office and teams, assisting in various administrative and operational related tasks.
The role provides plenty of opportunities to develop interpersonal skills, such as stakeholder management, as you will have a broad set of responsibilities and work with a diverse range of people.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Coordinate, plan, and manage the calendar and schedules for the CRDO
- Provide coordination within the R&D leadership team
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees and external partners
- Ensure information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Plan and organize meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are handled effectively
- Attend management meetings
- Arrange travel plans and take care of expenses
- Prepare documents, reports, and status updates for the CRDO activities
- Facilitate continuous improvement efforts for existing internal processes and ways of working, as well as contribute to the development of new internal processes, in alignment with the company's policies
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks according to business needs
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you bring:
- Experience from a similar position in a R&D environment – in an international matrix organization
- Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and independent approach
- A process- and operation-orientated mindset
- Ability to prioritize effectively when urgent tasks occur unexpectedly
- Detailed-oriented and ability to thrive in an agile environment
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office/D365
