Sustainability Consultant - Decarbonization & ESG Data

Your main tasks will be to develop and execute a global decarbonization program as well as be responsible for our Environmental, Social and Governmental sustainability data management and ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 related activities.

You’ll be part of Workplace Sustainability where you, together with your colleagues, will work to improve sustainability across our offices and sites within the following areas:
• Environmentally sustainable workplace solutions towards decarbonization; biodiversity & nature actions; and circularity
• Social sustainable workplace solutions towards a green transformation that works for people
• Governance, embedding sustainability and integrity across our operations in Global Real Estate & Workplace Management
You’ll be part of Workplace Sustainability that acts as a global sustainability support function towards our global facility management organization and other teams inGlobal Real Estate and Workplace Management. As a team, we are driven by making things happen and processes a great deal of execution power. You’ll play an important role in:
- shaping a new department that execute on workplace sustainability, by contributing with your knowledge and ideas to the department’s vision and goals
- developing and implementing our decarbonization program including processes and policies to ensure we meet our targets on becoming carbon neutral in the entire value chain by 2024 and increase Energy Efficiency
- acting as a subject matter expert consultant on decarbonization and Energy Efficiency, and support our Workplace Project & Space Management team in identifying and developing global energy efficiency projects
- implementing processes and systems to monitor and track progress of our ESG performance globally to continuously improve our sustainability efforts and being able to report on relevant ESG data
- sustaining ISO 14001 and 50001 (clause 6.3), our Aspects and Impact Register, and assisting GREWM’s departments with training and support to make staff aware of their environmental responsibilities
- acting as a change agent in the effort to integrate a sustainable mind-set across GREWM’s organization by ensuring best practice and UpToDate knowledge on decarbonization and sustainability issues.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a higher educational level: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, engineering, sustainability)
- have substantial experience in decarbonization program management and/or energy efficiency management or similar roles
- have educational and/or professional experience with ISO 14001 and 50001 (clause 6.3)
- have experience in ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance data) data management and reporting
- have excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data management tools such as Excell and Power BI
- are a structured and focused program manager with a positive attitude and strong stakeholder and interpersonal skills.
