SPATIAL DESIGNER – MATERNITY COVER

We are looking for a talented Spatial Designer to join our Spatial Design team in Copenhagen. Are you interested in joining a creative team that designs and realizes all spatial design projects worldwide within &Tradition that include showrooms, trade fairs, shop, shop-in-shop set-ups – then this is your opportunity. The position is a maternity cover and from 1st February 2025 or as soon as possible.
WORK AREAS
As a Spatial Designer you will bring &Tradition’s core values to life through thoughtful interior design, seamlessly integrating both existing and new products with considered storytelling. You will oversee the brand’s representation in showrooms, exhibitions, contract spaces and other touchpoints, ensuring cohesive and impactful brand presence.
In addition to this your work responsibilities will include:
- Design and execute global brand activations, including exhibitions, bespoke installations and special projects that align with the brand’s vision and strategy
- Oversee and lead the showrooms, collaborating with local teams to implement new product launches, exhibitions and curated events
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and execute projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop storytelling for all projects
- Create technical drawings and detailed plans for all interior projects, including exhibitions, showrooms, and other brand activations
- Develop and deliver project presentations to internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of concepts and objectives.
- Collaborate with local teams on the design and execution of external showrooms, dealers/client spaces and exhibitions.
- Work closely with the Sales teams on contract projects for key accounts, ensuring alignment of design with client needs and brand standards.
- Maintain and elevate the styling standards of all &Tradition spaces, including show-rooms, the office and other brand areas, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Stay up to date with materials, textiles and finishes, while actively researching new options.
Travelling for work related tasks may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a bachelor’s degree in interior and spatial design, architecture, or other relevant education with 3-5 years of experience working within the industry. You have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and is fluent in English. You possess great organizational, planning and scheduling skills and are proficient in software such as InDesign, Rhino, Keyshot or other modelling programs.
