The Chemical Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for implementation of IVDR and new chemical processes in our production of analyzers and consumables. You serve as the vital link between R&D and operations and implement improvements on existing production lines. You will develop expertise in the chemistry used for our Blood Gas Analyzers and take responsibility for the tasks related to chemical processes in our projects.
This position is part of the department for Projects, NPI and Manufacturing Technology located in Brønshøj and will be on-site. You will be a part of the Tests and Manufacturing Processes team and report to the manager responsible for supporting projects within production capacity and NPI. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Drive implementation and ensure compliance with IVDR regulation
- Validate test methods and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders such as R&D, production, QA and RA
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, offering technical support to operations
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
- Solid understanding of laboratory processes
- Proven experience in a regulated industry, such as the medical devices, with a good understanding of GMP, and validation requirements.
- Strong planning, coordination and communication skills
- Proficiency in English
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience with project management or project participation
- IVDR implementation
