Here’s some of the things you can look forward to
As a Senior Sustainability Project Manager, based in Lyngby, Denmark or Barcelona, Spain, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across various functions and geographies, focusing on:
- Supporting and orchestrating projects that are linked to delivering on Hempel’s Sustainability ambitions
- Establishing cross-functional teams to deliver results on Sustainability impact programs
- Providing experienced knowledge on key environmental sustainability topics and advise on decisions and direction based on the Sustainability trends in the industry
- Collecting, consolidating, analyzing and forecasting the results of the Sustainability impact programs, ensuring efficiency towards delivering on the overall goals and ambition
What do you need to be successful in this role?
As a Senior Sustainability Project Manager, you'll be part of the group-level sustainability function, focusing on the successful delivery of Sustainability programs and initiatives within the Sustainability strategy. This involves:
- Recent experience driving sustainability projects from similar industries
- Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability trends in the industry
- Proven track record to handle cross-functional projects and teams and drive teamwork
- Highly proficient in data collection, analyses, and data management and translating data to actionable insights.
- Experience working across functional areas, e.g. finance, supply chain, commercial.
- Proven track record in Life Cycle Thinking and experience with Life Cycle Assessment is considered a benefit
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
