The Position
As the Senior Manager for Aseptic Processes (AP) you have the overall responsibility of ensuring the global process design for the AP Modules is meeting all programme objectives and standards. It is your task to establish the appropriate coordination between the AP Module Process leads and Equipment Standard Leads to ensure a fully functioning AP module design is delivered to the receiving sites. Effective coordination with the local sites AP process leads, combined with a well-functioning Aseptic process team is crucial to ensure each AP module is delivered and ramped up as smooth as possible.
Your main tasks in this role include:
- People management and direction setting for 4-5 Senior Aseptic Process leads
- Responsibility for the overall schedule for the centrally delivered process equipment from design through to SAT
- Direction setting on cross work package flows and overall interface management of the GMP processes within the AP module
- Ensuring application of global process standards in AP module designs, managing adjustment and modifications as part of the design process
- Representing the central AP team in AP change management process as the representative for all GMP process packages.
Your workplace will be based in Lyngby, Denmark but as there is collaboration required on a global scale, travel is expected to our other sites. It is estimated that this would be up to 10% of the time annually.
Qualifications
Ideally, you have the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management/execution experience, with direct people management as a strong preference
- You can provide clear goals and purpose for the area and the project team members so that the project secures effective use of time and resources and builds employee motivation
- You possess significant experience from aseptic processes within pharma or biotech environments
- You are skilled at managing complex GMP projects with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, ideally full cycle from design initiation through approval and into ramp up.
- You have managed the full cycle of design, procurement, build, qualification and validation of GMP process equipment
- You are familiar with current GMP requirements for aseptic processing based on regulatory requirements
As a person you are an effective communicator that works seamlessly across multiple cultures. You have developed and led high performing teams and have the ability and experience to motivate highly skilled professionals and experts. You are exceptionally good at creating good stakeholder relations, even in positions where formal decision power might be unclear.
About the Department
As Senior Manager for Aseptic Processes, you are part of the AP module leadership team and you will report to the AP module Owner. You will work closely with the site-based projects across the globe in designing and ensuring efficient project execution of the future factories of Novo Nordisk, all based on a concept of “one design”, replication, and leveraging of both design and CQV related aspects.
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s +70,000 employees.
Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients.
