The position
As a QC Chemist in Sourcing QC, you will have the opportunity to be a subject matter expert within the applied analyses and within the equipment used for these analyses. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing laboratory support and reviewing analysis documentation
- Handling deviations and Out of Specification (OOS) cases
- Updating procedures and documentation to maintain compliance and efficiency
- Digitizing data, e.g. by implementing automatic transfer from equipment to LIMS
- Qualifying and implementing equipment related to analyses
- Verifying and validating methods
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, we imagine you:
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a GMP environment, preferably in a QC laboratory.
- Have experience with spectroscopic analysis methods such as UV, NIR, Raman or FT-IR would be an advantage.
- Are efficient in Danish and English (written and verbal).

About the department
You will be part of the Sourcing QC department, which is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials for Novo Nordisk's productions. The department consists of approximately 132 employees divided into 9 teams. You will be part of one of our three chemical teams all located in Hillerød. The position is in one of our chemical analysis teams, which is responsible for the chemical analysis of materials using a wide range of methods, but specialised in spectroscopic analyses, such as UV, FT-IR, NIR and Raman. The teams each consists of 15 people, including laboratory technicians and chemists, with a strong sense of commitment and team spirit where we care for and help each other.
