What is this about?
As a Director Data Analytics, Product Supply & Quality you will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of the company’s data-driven initiatives with a focus on Product Supply and Quality. This executive will be responsible for driving innovation in data management, analytics, and advanced technologies (e.g., AI/ML) to accelerate supply chain, manufacturing and quality. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business domain teams to create action-able insights that enhance decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with supply chain, manu-facturing, and quality objectives, integrating data from diverse sources like SAP, MES, and demand forecasts.
- Establish data governance frameworks to maintain data quality, security, and compliance with global regulatory requirements such as FDA, EMA, HIPAA, and GxP standards.
- Lead the development of advanced analytics platforms, employing AI and machine learn-ing to optimize supply chain efficiency, enhance manufacturing processes, and improve quality management.
- Oversee the design of scalable data architecture and ensure the seamless integration of ERP, MES, SCM, QMS, IoT data, and other technologies to enable real-time analytics and collaboration.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making in supply chain, manufacturing, and quality domains.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innova-tion, diversity, and continuous professional development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while managing risks related to data privacy, security, and ethical use of data in product supply and quality.
- Track and communicate the business impact of data initiatives, emphasizing operational improvements, stakeholder satisfaction, and talent development.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- 10+ years of experience in data and analytics leadership roles, with at least 7 years in life sciences or pharmaceutical industries in supply chain, manufacturing, and or quality.
- Proven track record of leveraging data and analytics to drive supply chain optimization, manufacturing efficiency in a highly regulated environment.
- Deep expertise in ERP, MES, SCM, QMS, Digital twins tools.
- Experience managing large-scale data platforms, including cloud computing, data lakes, and advanced analytics technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data standards specific to the life sciences (e.g., CDISC, SDTM, ADaM).
- Experience working with cross-functional distributed teams
- Experience with emerging technologies like IoT, AI.
