Your position
In your new position as Senior telecom Engineer in the Technology Solutions division, you will join a multicultural, diverse team of skilled, enthusiastic telecommunication specialists from all over the world. Together with your dedicated colleagues, you will create, design and develop critical communication systems for the offshore energy industry. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.
Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will design and engineer state-of-the-art radio solutions, closely integrated with several other network, telecom and operational systems. Each project is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge, customized solutions.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Design radio systems for Marine and Aeronautical systems that are in line with regulatory authorities and client requirements.
- Deliver mission critical communication systems based on DMR and TETRA radio technologies including design for radio coverage in confined areas.
- Design, document and verify radio systems performance with the use of state-of-the-art calculation tools.
- Support our clients with broadband radio technologies supported by 4G and 5G private radio networks including core and RAN design.
- Provide input and early design to our tender team for above mentioned radio systems.
- Participating or leading the detail designs, incl. Front End Engineering Designs.
- Programming, configurations and equipment testing before Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Following up on subcontractors’ designs, securing technical requirements and interface management.
- Supporting and interacting with subcontractors, customers and other teams across the organisation, such as Telecom Service and the Tender team.
Your profile & qualifications
You are a detail-oriented and structured engineer with a curious and analytical mindset. In addition, you have a proactive and organised approach to your work and thrive in a workday with lots of variation and teamwork.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience configuring and designing different radio systems.
- A degree in electronic, telecommunications engineering or similar.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written.
- Experience with the offshore energy industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Be a project minded person
