Vice President, Strategy Office
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners
Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Vice President to join our Strategy Office based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Strategy Office
Since CIP’s founding, we have grown to become the largest dedicated renewable energy fund manager globally. We aim to continue growing and contributing to a net zero economy, with a target of reaching EUR 100 billion in assets raised by 2030. We are committed to financing and building the energy infrastructure needed to secure a sustainable future for our planet. With our scale, expertise, and resources, we are well positioned to drive the green transition of the energy sector.
As part of CIP’s growth and increasing complexity with new funds, new products and continued globalization, the Strategy team – and the Transformation Management function within it – play a critical and central role in setting up CIP for greater scale and continuing success. The team is responsible for strategic planning across CIP’s network of companies, as well as supporting CIP’s leadership in day-to-day management.
The Role
As a Vice President in CIP’s Strategy Office focused on Transformation Management, you will play a critical role in delivering and implementing our operating model across the various businesses in the CIP network. You will join a project-oriented team consisting of internal and external resources and report to the Transformation Management leader, with frequent exposure to and close interaction with CIP’s executive management.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving strategic alignment: Ensuring transformation project workstreams align with core design principles, ensuring consistency, and strategic coherence
- Planning and prioritizing: Monitoring progress across the entire implementation journey, highlighting critical milestones, and ensuring transparency across workstreams. Collaborate with leaders to prioritize initiatives and ensure progress throughout
- Proactively addressing issues: Anticipating and tackling cross-workstream challenges early, offering strategic guidance or escalating to SteerCo when necessary to keep momentum strong
- Strategic communication: Streamlining communication across workstreams to deliver concise, unified updates to SteerCo, driving informed and agile decision-making at the highest level
You
We are looking for a committed and collaborative individual holding a relevant degree within business, management or other related fields, and a minimum of 8+ years of full-time experience in consulting or project management. Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus, but not a requirement.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience in managing complex transformations, particularly organizational restructuring and new operating models
- Proven ability to drive organizational change while ensuring employee engagement and maintaining momentum
- Experience working with senior leadership and key stakeholders in managing large-scale transformation initiatives
- Understanding of organizational change processes, including exposure to functional areas such as finance, HR, legal, and compliance
- Ability to provide objective, constructive input when navigating potential conflicts that may arise during change processes
- A self-starter attitude with integrity, initiative and a willingness to commit to deliver results
