About the Role
As a Compensation and Benefits Manager, you’ll lead job architecture design and evaluation, drive strategic decision-making, and collaborate with cross-border teams to align on consistent practices. And play a pivotal role in ensuring that our Swedish workforce is supported with competitive compensation structures and benefits, in addition to cross-organizational scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Job Architecture and Evaluation: Develop and maintain job architecture frameworks, aligning roles with organizational structures. Use evaluation methodologies (Willis Towers Watson, Korn Ferry, or similar) to ensure clarity and consistency across roles.
- Pension and insurance responsibility: Manage, maintain, and develop pension and insurance for our Swedish operations in all aspects. Cooperate with our suppliers and brokers in the field.
- Policy Communication and Training: Effectively communicate policies to managers and employees, providing training to empower stakeholders to apply them consistently.
- Compensation Program Design: Create and manage competitive salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive plans tailored to the Swedish market. Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective agreements.
- Market Analysis: Conduct benchmarking studies and lead salary surveys to provide actionable insights, supporting data-driven decisions on pay and benefits.
- Collaborative Projects: Partners with Compensation Analytics Specialist/Compensation and Benefits Specialist, People Business Partners, department heads, and managers. Engages with external vendors for compensation surveys and benchmarking.
The Compensation and Benefits Manager reports to the Head of Compensation and Benefits.
What You Bring
- Experience and Expertise:
- 3–5 years in compensation and benefits, with proven expertise in job architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish labour laws and collective agreements.
- Experience with evaluation tools like Korn Ferry or Willis Towers Watson.
- Skills:
- Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator in Swedish and English, adept at simplifying complex topics.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and compensation platforms.
- Mindset: A commitment to creating inclusive, equitable compensation frameworks that reflect our values of diversity and integrity.
