Manage projects from the conceptual phase to the full detailed design phase
Reporting to the VP Head of Projects, your primary responsibility will be to lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams in delivering high-quality solutions for clients across various sectors. You will take ownership of exciting projects from start to finish within new builds, reconstruction, and project development, or join project management teams on large-scale projects. As such, you will develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and COWIs strategic goals. Moreover, you will manage the project scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project lifecycle, as well as coordinate activities across multiple disciplines, including structural engineering, mechanical and electrical service, and architecture. Responsible for the full scope of design and tendering within various contract types, you will ensure well-coordinated, high-quality project materials. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will maintain strong relationships, align expectations, and identify opportunities for additional services or project extensions.
Experienced Project Manager with excellent stakeholder management skills
You bring an academic background in engineering, architecture, or a related field, combined with extensive experience working with building projects across all design stages in Denmark. Additionally, you have a strong track record of successfully overseeing projects from the conceptual phase to the full detailed design phase. Your experience has provided you with a strong understanding of various engineering disciplines and their interdependencies as well as knowledge of industry standards and best practices. To succeed in this role, you need strong stakeholder management skills and fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
On a more personal note, you are proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating effectively. You possess strong problem-solving skills and know how to excel in fostering team spirit and maintaining a holistic perspective while acting decisively.
