Are you a professional with deep senior skills in the OT and IT areas who is ready for a new challenge? We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our OT Team in the Digitalization & AI department within Topsoe IT. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Topsoe's Research & Development activities, driving our mission to make R&D more data-driven, explore new solutions & technologies and be part of the teams work for keeping the “lights on”.

We are actively seeking a talented individual to join our team, bringing their wealth of experience and expertise to drive our projects to new heights. Whether you come from a consulting background or have worked as a developer in a larger company, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and supporting our LabVIEW programs. You will help drive the development of new technologies to modernize the solutions we offer and support in our Research & Development department. Additionally, you will contribute to our daily operations, ensuring that our systems are up and running smoothly with a focus on uptime, performance, and stability.

What you’ll bring
We are seeking a dynamic team player who, even when faced with challenges and unexpected obstacles, can maintain focus, and find innovative solutions within the boundaries of IT security. Your ability to adapt to change and provide unwavering support, solutions, applications, and documentation for our R&D colleagues will be invaluable. As a person, you are focused, structured, and detail-oriented with a great sense of humor. Others would describe you as driven, results-oriented, and you have a passion for technology and a desire to make a significant impact.

Specifically, we expect you to have:

• A proven track record of at least 7-10 years in developing applications using LabVIEW. Your expertise in LabVIEW programming will be instrumental in our projects supporting and expanding our large codebase
• A strong background in Python, with 3+ years of experience in writing code, would be a valuable asset
• Comprehensive understanding of PC hardware, software, and the Windows operating system. Additionally, your familiarity with the Linux platform will be advantageous in our diverse technological landscape.

Currently we are exploring new solutions such as Node-Red from FlowFuse. Any prior knowledge of this would be interesting for us too.
