Experienced Client Consultant (Bygherrerådgiver)
COWI A/S
Do you want to turn complexity into clarity for clients? Can you collaborate effectively on large-scale projects to achieve successful outcomes? And are you an experienced advisor ready to make an impact? Then, you might be the expert we’re looking for!
Enhance project outcomes through expert client advisory
To help our clients realize their visions from concept to completion, we are looking for an experienced Client Advisor to join our team. Our Consultancy unit consists of approximate 130 employees working closely with our clients on some of Denmark’s most significant projects within buildings, urban development, industry, and pharma. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects for both public and private clients, including school buildings, sports halls, hospitals, laboratories, waterworks, etc.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Client consultancy services such as clarifying clients’ needs, establishing decision bases, tender advice, process design, program development, advising on competition and risk management, and overseeing quality, time, and budget in both design and delivery phases
- Providing strategic advice to clients regarding project and process management
- Leading project management initiatives, sharing knowledge with colleagues, and supporting team members' learning objectives.
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you will have:
- An educational background in engineering, architecture, building construction, or a related field
- Extensive experience with large building projects, providing deep insight and knowledge in planning, construction or civil engineering as a consultant, contractor, or developer
- The ability to convey and visualize planning outcomes and ensure clear agreements, facilitating effective collaboration among all stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing.
The following attributes are not a must, but will be considered advantageous due to the growing demand for sustainability and digitalization in project management at COWI:
- Knowledge-based interest in sustainability, including familiarity with DGNB, LCA, and CO₂ requirements
- Experience with circular construction and sustainable materials
- Proficiency in digital tools or integration with BIM and familiarity with digital construction contractual terms.

Before you apply
All you need to include in your application is your CV – no photo or application letter. At an interview, you can tell us everything we need to know about why you’re interested in joining COWI. As for the photo, we prefer to form our first impression in person rather than from a picture. You are welcome to apply in either Danish or English, whichever you prefer.
