The position
As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Your main tasks will be:
• Ensuring a standardized system and setup for the procurement team which aligns with the facilities on site.
• Managing end-to-end purchasing processes
• Establishing and executing on indirect procurement plan
• Manage planned and ad-hoc purchasing requests
• Ensure procurement compliance and quality aspects
• Managing invoices and payments to suppliers

In addition, you will provide support for indirect spend matters related to projects and operations, and conduct smaller sourcing events/tenders. This might evolve over time.

Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar job
• Deep understanding of purchasing processes and related tools
• Experience working with investment projects and operations
• Experience working with SAP MM and Coupa or similar procurement systems
• You possess strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

As an individual, you will need to be a team player and play a key role in our expansion project. You should be able to work collaboratively across the organization, and be comfortable with ambiguity and building your own position. We are looking for someone who is proactive and has a "can-do" attitude, with the ability to make an impact from day one. Standard processes may not always be in place, so you should be open to new ideas and approaches to achieve our goals.

About the department
PPV New Tech, Supply Chain and Logistics is a dynamic team that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization. This role is part of our operations team which has the overall responsibility for supply chain, logistics, procurement and release of finished product. We work closely with other departments to ensure that our procurement processes are aligned with the needs of the business, and that we are able to source the best possible products and services at the most competitive prices. Our team is also responsible for managing relationships with suppliers and logistics providers, and for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in full. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, we are committed to driving value for our organization and delivering exceptional results.
