At NKT in Asnæs, we are expanding our production significantly by building complete new production lines while we are committed to keeping our present 24/7 production up and running. Hence, we are expanding our process engineering team and need a skilled process engineer to take part in this journey. The position requires a local presence at the production site to work closely with the production team.
Find the opportunities for production optimization
Through structured ways of working, you will as the Process Engineer analyze processes and production data to create a basis for decision-making for optimization of production output. You will be responsible for implementing essential modifications to the production machinery and overseeing specific initiatives aimed at enhancing the production environment. Furthermore, you will be part of or supervise smaller investment projects based on the investment plan.
Your main area of responsibility will be
- Review processes and data on existing production
- Lead, coordinate and implement optimization projects
- Industrialize new products in the production process
- Design new constructions on existing machines
Ability to analyze, be creative and collaborate at all levels
As a person, you have a positive and proactive mindset being able to think creatively finding new solutions to existing equipment and ways of working. You enjoy working as a part of a diverse team, where your contribution as the mechanical engineer will complement the team. Besides your technical skills, you will contribute with your collaboration and communication skills to ensure projects are completed in due time and budget.
We believe that you have:
- A BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer or a similar role in a complex production environment
- Construction experience
- Fluently in Danish and English
- High competence in Microsoft Office, SAP and relevant IT programs like AutoCAD or Caddy
