In the Investment Products & Offerings department, part of the broader Private Banking & Investments organization at Danske Bank, we provide the foundation for a highly competitive investment product offering towards Danske Bank’s private customers across the Nordic markets. We constantly seek to enhance our customers' financial wellbeing and guide private customers in their wealth planning anchored by sound investment concepts & recommendations, leading our clients towards achieving their long-term financial goals.

The new team member will join our Investment Concepts team, a crucial component of the Investment Products & Offering department. This innovative group is committed to secure the highest standards of quality and innovation in our investment concepts. The team's work concentrates on continuously developing and refining our investment concepts to ensure relevance and value contribution for our customers. Their efforts are vital in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our investment recommendations, directly contributing to our overarching goal of enhancing customers’ financial well-being.

In this role within the Investment Concepts team, you will handle both changing and recurring tasks, supporting assignments throughout the Investment Products & Offering organization. Your analytical skills and creative mindset will be key in driving the development and refinement of investment concepts that will shape the future of our customer engagements.

You will:

• Develop and implement quantitative analysis methods to carry out diverse assignments, including analysis on portfolios and custody holdings across different customer segments.
• Conduct thorough impact analysis of investment recommendations to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
• Collaborate in the development and refinement of new and existing investment concepts through quantitative building blocks.
• Support in improving our operational efficiency by developing tools to streamline process steps.

Detail-oriented quantitative analyst with an interest in investments
We are looking for a candidate with an interest in investments, investment products, and financial markets, who excels in developing quantitative frameworks and analyses. Your technical skills, combined with a proactive and collaborative approach, will be essential in advancing our team in a continuously evolving environment. We do not expect you to bring many years of experience, but instead the ideal candidate will have:

• Proficiency in SQL databases and programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, or R.
• A keen curiosity and enthusiasm for handling non-routine tasks and thriving in engaging settings.
• Notable creativity and self-motivation, with a proven ability to initiate and lead projects independently.
• Effective team collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English and preferably a Scandinavian language to effectively communicate and collaborate across our diverse teams.
