Senior Operation Manager - Rødkærsbro Mejeri

Are you the strong leader who can set direction for the development and performance of our packaging department at our dairy site supplying Mozzarella cheese and Pizza topping to customers around the world?

We are looking for a new member to our highly skilled leadership team at our Rødkærsbro Dairy site, who can take the baton in our packaging department and create direction for safety performance, future development and operational excellence.

The Rødkærsbro site has been chosen as the “Lighthouse” dairy among the Danish sites to be the place, where Operational excellence is harbored and future initiatives are developed and matured for the future benefit of all sites in Arla Foods. In close collaboration with our Operational excellence manager you ensure capacity utilization and continuous development in our packaging department through Lean ways of working and focus on continuous improvements where you challenge status quo to optimize our overall performance.

How you will make an impact
You will be instrumental in delivering high performance on our key objectives being Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation and Planet. As our new Senior Operation Manager in packaging you will be heading up a department consisting of highly skilled and engaged team leaders and specialists.

Leading by example you will provide strong leadership and coaching to your many employees and be role modelling for a culture where safety, wellbeing and strong performance goes hand in hand. You will be acting as a part of the site leadership team and be pivotal in setting direction for the entire site.

Your key responsibilities include:

• As an integral part of our performance management system, we are focusing intensively on wellbeing and safe working environment, thus you must be able to continue the positive development of our Safety and well-being culture and even raise the bar.
• Ensuring a workplace with focus on well-being and diversity you promote individual development of skills to support high performance and the future development of our packaging capabilities.

Passion for new technologies & digitalization – along with a highly developed sense of humour would all be great assets. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and excel at creating long-term relations both internally and externally.

Moreover, we imagine you:

• Hold a degree as Master of Dairy Science and Technology, Dairy Technician/Process Technologist or similar and 5+ years of experience working with FMCG
• Consider yourself to be a team player and have experience working cross functions
• It is essential that you are familiar with Lean and have a understanding of our production processes
• Promote data driven decision making and you can set the direction for our Cross-organizational LCO teams to ensure the further development of our production.
