Intern F25, Lyngby

COWI A/S

Do you want to help shape sustainable heat supply systems for the future? Can you bring your knowledge of engineering to make a real impact? Are you studying Supply, Energy, Indoor Climate, or Mechanical Engineering? If yes, then apply below and take the first step toward an exceptional career!

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow.
We’re looking for an intern to join our District Heating team in Lyngby for Spring 2025. As part of COWI’s Green Energy – Renewables and Green Fuels department, you’ll assist in designing and implementing pipeline systems that support sustainable heating solutions. You’ll work alongside experts in the field and gain hands-on experience in district heating for a greener future. This is your chance to take on diverse challenges, grow your skills, and contribute to shaping tomorrow's sustainable society. The internship requires a commitment of 30-37 hours of work per week.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Designing network systems in connection with gas conversions
  • Retrieving LER information
  • 2D and 3D modelling using AutoCAD
  • Participating in preliminary projects to clarify routes for utility and transmission lines
  • Participating in inspections, site visits, and walkthroughs

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is you be eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A strong interest in sustainable energy production, particularly in district heating systems and pipeline projects.
  • A curious, visionary, and proactive approach to tasks.
  • The opportunity to engage in all phases of district heating deployment, including planning, design, and implementation.
  • The ability to work with "freedom with responsibility" within the framework provided by our colleagues.
