The position
You will become a member of a newly established team of nine Project Coordinators and will be responsible for driving and coordinating drug development projects from the first human dose to regulatory approval. Your main task will be to support the Project Vice Presidents/Directors and the Global Project Teams with a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks to ensure effective project delivery. These tasks include:
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Following up on project plans, tracking and reporting activities and progress
• Coordinating the budgeting process and following up on actual project costs
• Arranging Global Project Team meetings (preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and following up on actions)
• Supporting in the preparation of communication materials (e.g. presentations)
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you should have a passion for projects, people, budgets, systems, and structure. We expect that you have practical experience in the following areas:
• Project coordination, preferably from working on large and/or complex projects
• Financial budgeting and project planning
• Working with IT systems such as SAP, MS Excel, and MS Project, and the ability to use AI tools and learn new systems
• Environments where fluency in oral and written English is required
• Supporting a senior leader and/or team
As an individual, you are proactive, capable of managing deadlines, and can work with changing priorities. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with individuals possessing diverse skill sets and sparring with other coordinators. You work independently, balancing a broad overview with attention to detail. Communication is a vital aspect of your work, and you use your collaboration skills and sense of humour to navigate a complex organization and seek pragmatic problem-solving.
