The position
As a Material Responsible, you ensure that raw materials, primary packaging, or labels used for producing and filling of a finished product at the CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organization) are following the quality requirements defined by guidelines and our quality management system. You will be working in a dynamic environment with a broad range of stakeholders such as late-phase development, sourcing operations, and quality assurance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Technical assessments and risk management of raw materials, packaging, labels, and finished products
- Late-phase transfers of raw materials to CMO’s
- Ensure successful collaboration with CMO‘s regarding shipment, samples, finished products, raw materials both biological, chemical, and packaging
- Sparring and approval of materials, ordered and used by CMO
- Establishment of labelling process for CMO’s and fulfilment of requirements in daily work
Qualifications
Note that we welcome junior profiles if they have the appropriate educational background.
To succeed in this position, you:
- Hold a master’s degree within a scientific field such as Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or similar
- Have experience in working with cross-functional projects and a broad range of stakeholders.
- You might have been working as a Project Manager before - focusing on small project execution
- GMP knowledge would be advantageous
- Are fluent in English; Danish skills would be a plus
On a personal level, you are an independent worker who thrives by having multiple different tasks at once. You can coordinate many different stakeholders and tasks. You will be part of a team working with outsourcing, so you have the natural ability to navigate between multiple stakeholders and utilize your great communication skills to ensure a successful collaboration internally and with the CMOs.

The Contract Manufacturing team consist of 8 dedicated colleagues that cover different areas of responsibilities like: Sourcing, material, supplier implementation, GMP documentation, tech transfer, CMO screening and selection and contract negotiations.
